These are my opinion, only!! Some breeders will agree, some will disagree.

 

Ragdolls DO shed, in fact you shed about 100 hairs a day.  Because of the unique coat, they don't shed as much, nor year around, like other pets.  Although they don't need daily grooming, a Ragdoll can matte, during shedding season.  

 

Not all Ragdolls are lap cats, Some are "I'd just like to be by your side" cats.  Every Ragdoll, just like every person, has their own personality.  Most Ragdolls are Puppy-Cats.  And even if they don't want to be in your lap, they follow everywhere.  Just think, you'll never have to go to the bathroom alone, again.

 

All Ragdolls have blue eyes.  There are no solid colored Rags. 

 

There are phony registry's , that will register any breed.  Be sure your kitten  is registered with the correct registry.  I do believe all Ragdolls are registered with TICA, then they can be registered with several other registry's.
